On The Tail End of Freshmen Year
This was supposed to be uploaded about a month ago. Forgot to click publish whoops
Hello everyone,
I will try to keep this one brief because I am definitely procrastinating on my homework. Happy Easter.
I cannot believe I am almost done with my freshmen year. Wow, what a year it has been. It has been a wild ride. Spring semester is no joke. The fall semester was so fun and chill, but the spring semester hit me like a truck. To be fair, I also am currently taking a deadly combo of Biology II, Organic Chemistry, Calculus B, and Psychology along with my other non-STEM classes. Pray for me to pass Calc B so I do not have to take it again. I was thinking of making a little video of my freshmen year at the end of the year. We shall see.
Anyway, life has been absolutely insane. In the worst way haha. I have learned to really fight to see the positive as things seem to be falling apart. Also if you saw the last part of my last blog, no you didn’t. Let’s just say college men are flabbergasting.
In terms of poetry, my biggest accomplishment has been getting my pieces published in the 3 publications on campus. I think, in my head, I was just locally okay at writing. I did not think I would be able to compare to other people from different places with different writing styles. It has been a validating experience. I am currently experimenting with different forms of poetry, so if you have any form of writing you find interesting or any obscure type of poetry form for me to mess around with, please send them my way.
Non-Sponsored Endorsement:
I am avid consumer of caffeine. Partially because I was a barista. I just love good coffee, and unfortunately, our dining halls have great coffee. However, I have been trying to cut down on my intake of that, and honestly suspect I have a deficiency ( see * current obsessions *). However, I have discovered Emergen-C which has vitamin C and technically helps with immune support. (college winter sickness is so real). My energy levels have been glorious because of it. I would recommend the pink lemonade flavor. I would not recommend the orange flavor because it has a ghastly taste — in my opinion. Orange juice lovers, please don’t come for me
